- EU Blue Card: A residence and work permit for highly qualified or professionally skilled individuals from non-EU countries, applicable within the European Union.
- Work Visa Network (WVN): A secure platform that enables EU-based employers to find and connect with candidates who are non-EU nationals.
- Candidate: A person who has signed up and created a profile on Work Visa Network.
- Employer: A business or organization seeking to hire a candidate through Work Visa Network.
- Profile: An online account created and managed by the candidate within the Work Visa Network system.
Candidates
Candidates must provide a valid email address to register and create a secure account on the Work Visa Network platform, using it as their login ID along with a chosen password. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure the security and confidentiality of this login information. Accounts will remain active indefinitely unless a candidate requests removal by contacting customer support. Only individuals aged 18 years or older are eligible to register.
Employers
Protecting candidate privacy is essential, and therefore employer registration involves a manual verification process before access is granted to view candidate profiles. Employers who are registered can search and recruit through the Work Visa Network platform, provided their organization operates within the EU.
Candidate information must remain within the European Union and cannot be transferred outside. Sharing profiles with third-party entities within the EU is permitted only when personal data is anonymized, unless the candidate has provided explicit consent.
Ambassadors
Ambassadors are independent agents who do not represent or act on behalf of Work Visa Network. Ambassadors may end their relationship with WVN at their discretion, while WVN can terminate this relationship with a three-month notice or immediately if there is a breach of terms. Ambassadors are responsible for complying with applicable laws and paying all taxes on earnings. They must be at least 18 years old.
Profile Submission
After completing their profiles, candidates can use the electronic application submission service without charge. This service requires uploading a valid employment contract or job offer. Once processed, the profile information is sent electronically to the appropriate consulate based on the candidate's current residence and the intended country of employment. If electronic submission isn't possible, WVN provides specific guidance. The immigration authority in the host country issues the Blue Card.
Privacy
WVN adheres to GDPR regulations, ensuring candidate and employer data is never shared with third parties. Candidate profiles do not appear in search engine results. WVN may send occasional email notifications with an option to unsubscribe. Passwords are securely hashed and must be reset if forgotten. Payment information is securely managed by a third-party payment provider.
Education Verification
Work Visa Network offers a premium service for verifying candidate credentials, assuring employers that the candidate meets the educational and professional standards required for the EU Blue Card. The service costs 29 Euros, with refunds available within five business days upon request. Verification includes providing educational details and linking a CV that demonstrates at least three years of relevant professional experience. Candidates may be asked to provide scanned documentation if necessary, and verification takes five to seven business days to complete.
Terms of Service Delivery
Work Visa Network aims to provide consistent and reliable services but does not accept liability for issues arising from interactions between candidates, employers, immigration authorities, or consulates. WVN’s liability is limited to refunding service fees.
